When to change your engine's oil?
Your engine is metal rubbing on metal at extremely high speeds. The engine oil lubricates the parts to allow them to run smoothly with minimum wear. The fresher the oil the better because the oil is cleaner and flows better. If the oil gets dirty, it can cause excessive wear on the engine
It’s important to change your oil in line with your manufacturer’s schedule. Refer to your owners manual for specific intervals. Most cars are driven under severe conditions, which include: Stop and Go Driving, Short Trips, Hills, and Dust. Under severe driving conditions, it is recommended that your oil change interval is approximately every 3000 miles. Time between oil changes is also import to keep the oil fresh. An oil change every 4 months is a good guideline.
